Gardener & Cook was set up in 2004 by Diana Segal and Simon Cobley. There are two shops in Tunbridge Wells (Kent) and Lewes (East Sussex), selling decorative items for the home and garden (including antique and vintage items), a fantastic range of rare and second-hand books specialising in gardening, cookery, interiors and architecture.

With Diana’s natural eye for design and Simon’s instinctive sense for quirky and unusual book titles, the shops are a pleasure to visit - you’re guaranteed not to leave empty-handed!

Look out for Mr Dogsby, the security logistics dog who can usually be spotted snoozing on the job in the Tunbridge Wells shop … he’s extremely cute but sadly not for sale.
